Rose Treat
has developed a visual art made from seaweed. From her studio
on Martha's Vineyard, her seaweed collages have found their
way into hearts of both art lovers and critics on the island and
abroad. Exhibitions at Barnard College, and other galleries
in New York and around New England have expanded the audience
for Rose Treat's art.

Seaweed collages
by Rose Treat are in the permanent collections of The Marine Biological
Laboratory, The Vineyard Museum, The State University at Potsdam NY,
and Harvard University. Rose Treat's seaweed collages
are also a part of the Ocean Planet Exhibition of the Smithsonian
Institution and were recently featured on ABC Chronicle.
